Still alive.
25 10 2007Dear Readers (do we still have readers?),
We do intend on updating this again, but our lives have been pretty crazy over the last couple of months. I do know that Andrea will be back in Toronto for the holidays, so we’ll definitely try to do a joint entry when she’s back in town!
I’ve had some great food experiences over the last couple of months. Since my last post, I:
- have traveled to San Jose, where I ate these delicious fish tacos at a place I found on Chowhound
- ended up sitting at the table next to Rachel McAdams (!) at Adega. This was right after I caught a screening of her latest film at the Toronto International Film Festival
- had an incredible meal on the 54th floor of the TD Tower at Canoe
- took a trip down to the Niagara area, where we harvested grapes, tasted wines & matched them with food

I am devoted!
But also, I am sad.
Is it weird that I miss Allison and Andrea being together to blog more than I miss being around Andrea myself? No, that’s not quite right…
I am the missing of both things, but differently.

Dear Alli, Thanks heaps for your comments - great to hear from you! How is everything going and your new job? =) The wedding was in Hyde Park in Perth, the brides family all flew in from trinidad and lots of people flew in from round the globe, it was a really cool wedding to photograph, especially for a Wednesday wedding! =)
I had lunch at Canoe (the Lobster Club) and found the food while well executed, and amazing service, the food was a bit flat and not that interesting. But that’s just my opinion.
